The challenge
A 90 place centre needed better security without compromising the privacy of the children in its care. Any system had to satisfy regulators, reassure parents and stay simple enough for educators to use daily.
What we installed
Cameras cover entries, play areas and the perimeter only, with footage locked behind role based access. Monitored access control was added to the front and side doors so every entry is logged.
The result
The centre met its obligations at the next review, and staff report a noticeably calmer pick up period now that access is controlled.
